Dwayne Wades Wife Released from Police Custody

After posting bail in the amount of $10,000, Dwayne Wade's wife was released from police custody.  According to news sources, the NBA star's wife (Siovaughn Wade) turned herself into police on Tuesday and was able to leave the station an hour later.

The couple is currently going through a contentious divorce and Siovaughn was arrested after she failed to show up in court for the couple's divorce proceedings.  Siovaughn's attorney said that she had intended to appear in court, but she thought the proceedings would be postponed because one attorney had gotten into a car accident.

However, the judge presiding over the proceedings said that Siovaughn failure to appear was the last straw and that she had been ignoring court orders for some time.   The judge then scolded Siovaughn for her behavior.
