The wife of Mobile County Commissioner Steve Nodine has officially filed divorce papers.  News sources report that Kimberlee Nodine filed her legal paperwork in Mobile County Domestic Court this week.

According to reports, the Nodines had a divorce agreement in place which outlined the terms of the future divorce.  The couple was married in 1995 and under the pre-arranged agreement, Kimberlee Nodine will havechild custody of the couple's son.

News sources also say that Mr. Nodine will be responsible for paying $971 in child support and $2,500 in spousal support for the time being.  Kimberlee will gain possession of the family home and Mr. Nodine will be responsible for paying the mortgage, property taxes and insurance.

At this time, the couple is waiting for a family court judge to approve of the agreement.  Once the agreement is approved, they will move forward with their divorce proceedings.
