An incident at Nordstrom has led to the arrest of a man accused of using a mirror to look up the skirt of teenage girl.
Gwinnett police arrested 27-year-old Bruce David Comstock after Nordstrom loss prevention officers spotted him angling a make-up compact so he could look up the skirt of a 15-year-old girl shopping at the store.
Police searched Comstock and found the mirror in his possession, and when they questioned the girl and her mother they said they felt like Comstock was following them.
Comstock was taken into custody and charged with child molestation and eavesdropping, but was later released after posting $5,350 bond. Gwinnett police spokesperson Cpl. David Schiralli said the charges were justified given how the law defines child molestation. In the state of Georgina, child molestation is defined as any "immoral or indecent act" committed in the presence of a child younger than 16 for the purpose of sexually arousing the victim or the perpetrator.
