Gang Fight Leads to One Death and Multiple Arrests

According to the Gainesville Times, a major fight between two rival gangs resulted in the death of a 23 year old man.  The incident between Latino street gangs, La Onda and SUR-13, occurred at 4:45 AM on Sunday at Lenox Park apartments. 

After the fight, officers found two people in a vehicle at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  One of the people, 23 year old Daniel Adame, was pronounced dead.  The other person was unidentified and taken into the hospital for treatment.

Officers say that eight people were placed under arrest and their ages ranged from 15 to 21.  They were charged with violating the street gang and terrorism act.  One man, 18 year old Juan Francisco Villanueva, was charged with felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
