Dr. Conrad Murray Reaches Child Support Payment Plan

This week, a court official approved a prosecutor's request to revoke the Nevada medical license of Dr. Conrad Murray.  Murray is the physician that was charged in connection with Michael Jackson's death one year ago.

Murray managed to avoid having to appear in court on the anniversary of the pop star's death due to a child support payment plan his lawyers were able to work out on Thursday with a prosecutor from Clark County.

Chief Deputy Clark County District Attorney Gerard Constantian said in family court, "Dr. Murray gets a reprieve from license suspension because yesterday we received payment of $5,214 in a lump sum."  In order for the deal to remain on good terms, the doctor must make his child support payment every month.  If he falls short, he will face additional legal proceedings.

In the state of Nevada, if medical professionals are delinquent with their child support payments, their medical licenses can be suspended by the courts.

If you are having issues with a child support matter in Georgia, you should contact the Law Office of Douglas N. Fox and speak with a Gwinnett County family law attorney immediately.
